"Results are almost, but not quite, accurate"

    by Zeffig232 on November 17, 2006

Pros: Out of all of the programs that convert PDF to HTML, this was my second favorite next to Intelligent Converter's nearly identically named product. This program and IC's program both produce similar results, that is, a folder containing an Index file and all associated files. This program's installation was smooth. User interface is pleasant. Results, even when I converted a complex PDF with text running in all different directions and with different fonts and justifications, was nearly flawless. The only flaw was in the last column (21st column out of 21!), where a few lines were overlapping. Otherwise, centered text remained centered, vertical remained vertical, separator bars separated what they were supposed to, even the custom header looked exactly like it did in the original PDF. Clearly, there are skilled programmers involved here. Uninstallation was clean and hassle-free.

Cons: Tiny vertical text, although accurate in positioning, is difficult to read when zoomed, and almost looks like a pixelated JPEG with some smearing. Some text occasionally overlaps. More overlaps are visible when you zoom to 200%. When you try to zoom HTML, you see message "To help protect your security...", and you have to "Allow blocked content." This might not be something wrong with the program, but instead with Windows; I'm not sure. All of these are minor complaints.
