    "doesn't work as intended, not worth the bother"

    Pros

    did produce an ".xls file"

    Cons

    produced file is useless

    Summary

    took a 10page pdf file and converted into a 10-sheet excel file where each sheet was a picture that couldn't be edited. i could have snapped a pic of the pdf and inserted it into an excel file myself if that's what I wanted. will be un-installing, hope there's no malware left behind...
