    "New releases are getting worst"

    May 24, 2006  |   By certdb2dba

    Love it when it works.

THIS REVIEW APPLIES TO THIS RELEASE ONLY. If I rename the PDF printer, it stops working. Also after several prints, it stops working and complains that I don't have enough memory. Ludicrous! I am running a monster multimedia AMD64 PC with 2GB of physical memory. I went back to using version 2.0.16. It's a little slow but reliable.

Thank you for your comments: I hope to be able to allow the renaming of the printer in a future version.

I have not experienced the low memory error that you reported, so if you ever get it again, please let me know if there is an error number that appears at the same time: that might help me troubleshoot. Did the problem occur only with v2.1.11, or did it also occur also with v2.1.7? Which version of Windows are you using?

Yes, v2.0.x is indeed a bit slower, particularly at startup. Furthermore, it does not have the merging feature which I find useful.
