Summary
I've used several .pdf writers ... from the small, free guys to the expensive, bloated ones. This is the easiest to use I've found and the results are as good as anything out there. I especially like the feature that allows you to create and save a .pdf file, and then add on to it later. This is especially good for working on a long manuscript as you can put it together piece by piece. This is a great little program.

Printing to PDF gives me more confidence the recipient of an electronic document will see what I want them to see than a Word document. For example EndNote X referencing can easily break when viewed by others, which is bad for University assignments.

Very simple and easy to install from (http://www.bullzip.com/products/pdf/info.php) version 5.0.0.609. Saving to PDF appears as a printer to select when printing thus making the process very easy.

Following the advice of the others above, I downloaded the latest version from Bullzip.com. I was up and running in no time on my Vista machine. Using office 2003, I easily converted Word, Excel and Visio files to beautiful PDF's, complete with watermarks! Highly recommend this app.
