"Perhaps the best PDF printer I've ever used"
Version: PDF Creator for Windows 7 7.00
Pros
Print to PDF from almost any program on Windows 7. Save as PDF dialog appears quickly.
Cons
Evaluation period is confined to 15 days.
Summary
The company that I recently retired from uses it.
I am very satisfied with PDF Creator for Windows 7. The program does exactly what I purchased it to do. -
"Beware! Good product may have probs with your hardware"
Version: PDF Creator for Windows 7 7.00
Pros
Good overall product. Had older version which was great.
Cons
Version 7 will not work correctly with my Intel core I-7 Windows 7 professional computer. It appears that my system generates a new machine ID # on each boot up. When PDF 7 looks at my system each time for authentication it see me as installing the software on numerous machines and locks me out. Had to install a couple of batch files from Nuance after numerous phone calls and about 6 hours of hassle. Still doesn't work right. A waste of money. My older version PDF pro on Windows xp system runs fine and works well. Had to upgrade because of Windows 7. Very disappointed. If they would remove the login authentication and trust that I am not installing it on a gazillion machines I would be happy and give it a high recommendation. AS IS, DON'T TRY IT IF YOU MACHINE GENERATES NEW MACHINE #'S.
Summary
Good product if above is not an issue for you. If it is, look elsewhere! One star as is, 4 star if problems do not arise.

"Does not work right with Microsoft Excel forms"
Version: PDF Creator for Windows 7 7.00
Pros
Easy to install, and seems to work with MS Word documents.
Cons
I use a Microsoft Excel invoice. I tried converting to PDF, and the right one-fourth of the document is cut off.
Summary
Use it if you have to. But if you can afford to buy something professional, you may want to do so. With a product like this, I would always worry that at the 11th hour before a deadline, it may not work right.

"Works fine"
Version: PDF Creator for Windows 7 7.00
Pros
software seems to work fine just like the software I had on my previous computer
Cons
software seems to work fine just like the software I had on my previous computer
Summary
After replacing my computer I set out to put software on it that I had. I thought PDF Creator is what I had on the old one so downloaded and installed. I started getting a "Register" box every down with a countdown. Followed the link and found out the cost was $99. Thought it was no charge software so I uninstalled it (don't have a big need). I am still getting the same window popping up. Emailed PF Logic asking how to get rid of this but have not received answer
