  Pros

  I've used this on Server 2008, Win XP, Win 7 and Win 8 without any issues. Also can get your key codes for Windows OS if you need them.

  Cons

  You have to enter your registration code each time. I had a problem on a Server 2003 machine, but it turned out that the OS was corrupt, so it may not be a problem with this software.

  Pros

  I purchased this program last year & it worked flawlessly for me.

  Cons

  Sadly at my last contact with the company they had been unable to get by windows bitlocker encryption :(. At my age (62) if I don't use it (my win pwd) daily then I tend to forget. I was gone for 2 months only to find out then that this program would not or could not get by bitlocker encryption :(.

  Summary

  As long as your computer is not using bitlocker encryption, then your good to go. At least it worked for me on several comp's (I purchased a tech license) due to so many friend's & family asking for my help. I do recommend this program with a 4 star rating & if they can ever get by bitlocker then I would give them a solid 5 stars!!!!

  Works. Don't use Anmosoft's Windows password reset standard. It's garbage. This one will work with USB also so you're not throwing away plastic like with Anmosoft's junk.

  Pros

  Please note that if you are resetting a Windows 8 password, most of these computers have UEFI/EFI (instead of BIOS). So, you download our other product "Password Reset X64 Edition". This version is for computers with BIOS.

  Cons

  You have to enter the registration information each time. Next version I'll update so the registration will save to USB flash drive.

  Refunded my money after I filed Paypal dispute

  This utility did not work from the beginning. My computer immediately slowed noticeably. Then the installation kept freezing at the same spot, just a couple screens in. It actually froze my computer about the third time I attempted to install it. Then I started sending emails asking for help. Guess what? No response whatever. I finally filed a dispute through Paypal and thankfully they sent me a quick refund.

  Currently there is a glitch in this program. Don't waste your time or money.

  When I double click on the downloaded zip file, it immediately starts spawning empty windows faster than they can be deleted. The only way to stop it is to shut the PC down.

  Pros

  I am the sole IT admin for a company with about 1000 users. I started this job a week before writing this review. Workstations started getting kicked off the domain and the local admin accounts were disabled. I had no way of logging in to these computers in order to add them back to the domain. I tried UBCD and PCloginnow before finding PCWin Recovery. I made a bootable USB flash drive with PCWin Recovery and cleared the local admin password. I was able to login and add the computers back to the domain.

  I have successfully used PCWin Recovery on all three variants of Windows 7. Great bootable utility.<br /><br /><span class='notifyMsg'> Updated </span>on Apr 24, 2013<p/>Almost forgot. The password utility will NOT work unless you purchase the license. I purchased the $34.99 Corporate license so I'd be able to use it over and over. Well worth it.

  Pros

  A new client got hacked and the hacker disabled the admin users, so even though the passwords were not lost, login was not possible. We felt the hacker probably created a new admin account for his use but we had no way knowing what it was much less how to log in with it. I searched the Internet for a password cracker and purchased one from some other company. But it did not work and their support link was broken. Finally I found PCWin Recovery. I was a little concerned because the price was so low, but I purchased it anyway. The server is ~ 10 years old and PCWin Recovery had a minor problem. So I emailed PCWin Recovery support and got an answer back almost immediately! Their programmer, Rob, actually created a special version of the program for the old server and it worked perfectly! I was able to view the hacker's user account and cleared the password. Then I logged in and took back control of the server. PCWin Recovery is the real deal! It's easily worth 10 times the price.

• s/w fraud/scam-Paid $-does not work. No reply to emails

  None. I paid via credit card last friday. Got emails with instructions, id and pasword for download. Downloaded and installed software. Did not get prompt for id and pasword. Can't create boot usb. Sent multiple emails to support email, but no reply. There is no phone number to call. Notifying my credit card company today.

  Do not purchase this vaporware.<br /><br /><span class='notifyMsg'> Updated </span>on Feb 4, 2013<p/>Amended review: I never rec'd a reply from the support email provided. However, I went back and tried the CD boot disk option versus the USB boot disk and the CD boot option works. I was able to change my win 7 administrator ID. I would change the rating to a 4 since the software worked, but if you take my money easily/fast, I expect support to be of the same ease and speed. At the very least an acknowledgement that my email was rec'd and when you will contact me back or provide a solution.
