This app is a simple keystroke and screenshot capture utility that suffers from a few problems. PC Spy's interface identifies the program as PC Surveillance Pro. The program's Help button leads to a suspended Web site. Both fail to inspire confidence in this software.
The dialog box control panel offers a few easily set options. Using simple pull-downs, you can quickly set how often to take screenshots and specify their quality. To save space, it is easy to set the app to take screenshots only if there has been system activity. Oddly for a spy program, there is an option to play a sound each time a screenshot is captured. You can quickly set a daily schedule, but there's little flexibility beyond that.
The control panel also offers single-click access to the saved screenshots and keystroke log. The log contains simple date, time, window name, and entered keystrokes. Our testers found the screenshots more useful than the poor keystroke data. Often the window is not identified or keystrokes are not captured. Both screenshots and the key log are in easily found unencrypted folders and files.
The program's hot key to redisplay the control panel failed to work for our testers. We were forced to close the application's process to end screenshot and keystroke capture. PC Spy is a bumbling attempt at monitoring software. It's poorly designed and suffers from numerous problems. Find another option to monitor user activity.

Version: PC Spy - Keyboard Keystroke Key Logger 1
Pros: was easy to install but that is about all that is good..
Cons: Installed pretty easy .. but can't unistall it.. it does take screen shots but can't see them.. I'm not pleased with this at all.
