"DOES NOT WORK IN U.S."
Version: PC SMS - Outlook SMS 1.0.0.37
Pros
None.......
Cons
No country code for United States. Might want to tell people that before they waste a half hour trying to install it.

"Good program - EXCELLENT 'after sales' service."
Version: PC SMS - Outlook SMS 1.0.0.37
Pros
This program works very well. Make sure your mobile phone is switched on when you install it because the registration password is sent to it.
The degree of 'after-sales' support from ComUnified.com has been OUTSTANDING in my experience. I had several questions regarding the use of the program which were promptly and most courteously dealt with. I really felt this company were interested in my experience of their service. This was not expected as the program itself is a 'free' one.
The messages you send to your friends' mobile telephones can be copied as e-mails, making it simple to save your messages (you simple copy the message to your own e-mail address), or this feature can be used to send text messages and e-mails to selected recipients simultanously. I did discover a slight 'problem' with this facility as the information was copied in German (not the message itself). ComUnified.com support were not aware of this and are looking into it at the moment. It does not impede the effectiveness of the program, however, which works in both German and English languages.
There is a counter at the bottom of the user window which lets you know how many characters you've used and how many of the 'credits' purchased will be used when your message is sent. It is easy to reach the first credit threshold (160 characters, including spaces) so it's an educational program, too: it encourages you to express yourself in as few words as possible!
I have no hesitation in commending this product without reservation.
Cons
E-mail copies of messages have the sender and recipient information in German at the moment, even if the user is using the English version. However, ComUnified.com support are dealing with this - it doesn't affect the effectiveness of the program (see PROS above).

"Works well as described but SMS cost dependant on length"
Version: PC SMS - Outlook SMS 1.0.0.37
Pros
As promised, integrates well into outlook automatically collates names and mobile phone numbers from your outlook contacts into a little SMS address book. Interface good and very easy to use. Message reached the mobile it was sent to, 10 seconds after sending and came up as being from me (as I'm in this phone's address book.)(Appears to be) no hidden costs other than the cost of the SMS itself which leads to the con...
Cons
When you select new message a window comes up with a character countdown of 620 chars max. You buy credits from Comunified and use these to send the sms. I live in Australia and 1 credit works out ever so slightly cheaper than the cost of sending an SMS (479 char max) from my own phone. HOWEVER while messages up to 160 chars cost me 1 credit, 161-310 cost me 2, 311-465 chars cost 3 and 466-620 cost 4 credits for the one message. I don't know if this varies between countries and carriers but it sort of cuts down a little on the advantage for me of being able to quickly type a longer message when I can send a 479 char message from my phone for the equivalent of 1 credit. You're paying for the speed I guess.
