PC MightyMax 2010
Full user review
Easy install. Worked as claimed. No issues at all, yet.
None yet but will see once the license expires
I've read the negative reviews and am confused. My experience was positive. Everything started after after my pc (running XP) was infected with XP Antivirus (unquestionable malware) last week. It was a pain to figure out how to remove but in safe mode I was able to find help from instructions posted in McAfee community and mybleepingcomputer (thanks!). I finally removed it using Malwarebytes Anti-malware - free version. Though XP Antivirus appeared to have been removed, my computer appeared to have been crippled in normal mode. I still couldn't use many of the icons that started apps from the desktop or from other areas including "add/remove applications" or even Internet Explorer 8. I had to find a roundabout way to get IE going. Anyhow, I guess I was quite desperate (I'm no expert) to get my pc working again, but found PC Mightymax and paid for the software - 1 year. Got 4 keys to run it. It worked fine - identified registry problems and fixed them, now all the icons work the way they're supposed to and my computer appears to be running normal without a hitch. I've run PC Mightymax a few times and the registry issues have been reduced to none. I know it's after the fact but now that I've seen the negative comments on a few sites, I'm confused and a little concerned about my purchase - not because it didn't work, but because my experience was so different from most others'. I never had any annoying pop ups or any of the issues mentioned by others. I've been scared more by the poor reviews rather than from my actual experience with the software. Weird.I forgot to mnetion that I've run Malwarebytes Anti-malware several times since and it didn't identify PC Mightymax as malware.
