Version: PC Inspector Smart Recovery 4.43
"Very good. It recovers deleted pictures from my harddisk"
Pros: I used my camera manufacturer suppied viewer software to reorganise my pictures on my 120Gb USB2 HDD but instead, it deleted every pic just before I close the viewer! I tried two others software before this and this one recovers lots of deleted pics (I must have lost 100's of pics)and it is still progressing.
This software recovers only "genuine" pictures and not every Tom, Dick and Harry jpg, mov, gif like others did. So far, 979 real pictures has been recovered from my HDD after scanning only 14% of it and taking 24 hours.
Thank you for this software, I am confident that it will recover most of my pictures.
Cons: I use this software to scan 120Gb of HDD on USB2 and it takes about 24 hours to scan 14%. So far, I think it is a bit slow but what is most important is that it is doing VERY WELL what it is doing. I would welcome some improvement on speed.
