Really none - may be a bit slow - hard to compare but who cares - it worked!
Summary
Recovered all but 4 of over 400 pictures from 2 GB SD card. These features were very easy to select and use. Great performance for a free program. Thanks!

When I went looking for a slide show program on a borrowed computer one of the photo programs copied my pix as thumbs and deleted them from the SD card. NO, No, No ... Found this on CNET - There is nothing difficult about the install, the interface is simple and it does the job.

I was so happy that I was able to get some photos that it didn't matter which ones I had lost. A word to the wise: make sure you format your CF card occasionally after you've saved your pictures. This program recovered some photos from last summer!
Cons
I wish I was able to recover more, but this is not necessarily a "con" of this softward. More human error!

For a FREE program, this helped me recover most of my photos.

Interface is a little difficult for novices, especially since it is not entirely English.
Summary
Many of the free programs I tried either would not install correctly or would crash in the middle of scanning my drive; this program is the only free one that didn't give me any problems; however, it did not find all the data I knew was on the drive and it has many items in German (or some similar language).

Pros
Recovered all files from a failed camera download but a successful 'delete after download' operation. Puts jpegs on the computer's hard drive. Instructions are obvious.
Cons
No biggy. You're anxious to get the files back, and it takes hours to completely mine the SD card and restore files. Just let it run overnight.
Summary
Does exactly what it says. For free to boot. Nice.
