I never had any problems recovering any lost files with this proogram. Yes I did try to recover some deleted pictures off of my digital cameras memory(Deleted but not reformatted) and I've had some success with it finding some pictures but 1 downfall, the picture that I wanted the most may have been overwritten. If the data is there this program will find it. Networked drives don't allow for any deletion recovery remotely if you want something advanced. Local Hard drive connection to the PC that you are running this program on will work.(ex. IDE/SATA/USB << all that I have tested so far)

I erased by accident a 400 MB job folder on my flash drive, it was a very important . I recovered all 400 MB in 5 minutes and for free!!! Great software!
Cons
A little bit tricky to make it work, that is why in some reviews some people complain that it does not do anything. It is not user friendly but it does the job! Other file recovery programs might have a friendlier interface but cost up to $ 50.

I am very happy this program saved me from having problems in my job! THANK YOU!
It does the job! You just have to understand how it works! You do not need to pay $ 50 for a fancy file recovery software. -

XP install was easy, set up was easy, found the files I needed recovered. Nice interface. No bugs, worked great in windows XP have installed on Windows Vista but haven't had a need to use it.
Cons
I think it could have had an easy recovery set up push a button, name a file, or drive.

This was the second free program I downloaded to recover data - the first one found 5 (!) files and this one found more than 400! Couldn't be happier - my friend who had a damaged minidisk is jumping with joy at having recovered all her photos.
Cons
Only defect, when it finds a file it doesn't like while saving and gives the error message the whole program freezes up (I'm on XP) and you have to close it down and start the scan again - but well worth the final result anyway.

There was nothing to dislike because I wasn't able to fully use the software, but it wasn't the software's fault.

My hard drive's crash was not recoverable by any software...I took it into a pro so I know it's beyond this type of help.

Does not work. After hours and hours of pretending to be doing something you end up with worthless list of 'clusters' If what you want is to read hexadecimal characters congratulations. If what you wanted was your docs or images bend over

I wish there was away of suing these punks who upload these faux programs.
These faux programs are free only if your time is worth nothing.
