Version: PC Doc Pro 4.3
"I bought this and got my money back. It is a scam."
Pros: (The owner is sensitive to his scam's reputation being smeared in public places so it is easy to get your money back by bad rapping his pdoduct in public!) This is a dangerous program and writes itself into your registry to create problems.
Cons: Check most of the links on Pc-Doc-Pro's website and you will find that they are mostly gifs rather than links. Many of the real links go back to their own webpages. Even the one that was a Microsoft Icon went to Pc-Doc-Pro. Do Not Trust.
Summary: I ran a scan (scam) and some of the results that I got from this program refferred to broken files that usually accompany Windows XP such as Messenger plugins. I know that I had, as I always do when I buy a new computer, deleted Messenger, every file associated with Messenger, and every reference to Messenger in the regestry and every where else I could find it. When one of the the "problem files" that Pc-Doc-Pro needed to repair or remove was located (according to PC-Doc-Pro at- C:\Program Files\Messenger... I knew that I had been scammed.
