From Keybreeze Group :PC-Com is a program launcher that sits in the bottom right corner of your screen. It's a small toolbar that's only visible when you are using it. With it, you can open files, folders, programs, and websites in three steps. Press a hotkey on your keyboard to activate PC-Com, type a keyword, and press Enter. PC-Com comes with over 50 preset keywords, and you can easily make your own. You can also type commands to search the internet, look up a word in a dictionary, and shut down or restart your computer. PC-Com also lets you record macros to automate your repetitive computer tasks.
Version 7.18 may include unspecified updates, enhancements, or bug fixes.

Pros: It works
Cons: You can get somethin which is smaller,looks better,free,and works just as good if not better.The name of the program is slickrun...its amazing fast and free...get it now

"At last no more numerous mouse clicks to get to what you want"
Pros: This prog is brilliant. Wish I had had it years ago! The amount of wasted time I have spent clicking through folders, trying to find programs, clicking through menus! This annialates all that and goes on to give you more shortcuts you had not even thought of. v IMPORTANT - you must read through the tutorial. Give yourself about 10 minutes to do it and you will save yourself hours in the future. Just brilliant! The most useful prog I have downloaded in years and it is Free and only $10 for the pro. I sound like an ad - but I assure you I am not I just couldn't help saying how pleased I am with it. Get it and use it - it will change the way you use your PC forever!

"The easiest way to navigate around your computer."
Pros: What's not to like about PC-Com? It's a very small app that appears as a toolbar, and you can activate the toolbar just by pressing a hotkey, such as the semicolon, on your keyboard. Then you can type any program, document, or website and press Enter. I can go anywhere on my computer or the internet in less than a second. I would highly recommend this download to power users, and I would still recommend it to people who would consider themselves, "beginners" at computers. PC-Com supports features that any computer user can understand, such as checking the weather, looking up movie theater times, shutting down your computer, and creating notes on your desktop. This is probably the most versatile utility I have ever downloaded.

Pros: You want to save time while working at your computer. This means, you want to do as much as possible from the keyboard, without touching the mouse, and you want the ability to pull up any data file, program, or website with just a few keystrokes. Not just programs, but also data files buried deep within many, many folders on your system. If that's the functionality you are looking for in a program launcher, download PC-COM and discover the possibilites! I can't begin to tell you everything this program does - I'll just say it is highly configurable and intuitive, especially because it allows you to choose the keywords you first associate with any file, program or website.
The autocomplete feature means often just the first 2-3 letters of your keyword need to be typed. PC-COM's freeware program is incredible, however I gladly sent the developer payment for a licensed version to extend the functionality even further, because it's more than worth the small payment requested and I wanted to thank him for all the work he put into this program! PC-COM has excellent documentation and even a tutorial to get you started. Great response from the developer when I emailed him a question. I have only heard the rave reviews of Quicksilver from my MAC friends, but as far as I can tell, this is the closest thing to Quicksilver as you are going to find on the Windows platform. I should know, because I downloaded at least a half-dozen programs, and looked at many more, before finding PC-COM. This program is lots of fun and will save you time.
Cons: PC-COM doesn't automatically scan your computer, to get maximum functionality you have to spend some time configuring the program for your setup. This will take some time if you have a really long list of bookmarks, for you need to visit each site and then type add and chose a keyword. Windows OS options, and programs which most Windows users have on their system, such as Word, are included in the pre-configured keywords, but you will need to right-click on the icon for many programs to add a keyword for that program to your list of commands. PC-COM is best suited for Windows users who use their computer for a wide variety of tasks and are willing to spend a little time learning and setting up the program to meet their specific needs. No auto-inclusion of urls when adding website keywords within Firefox (I will email the developer to suggest he includes this feature in the next upgrade.)
