When I tried to get more information on this program I found that the publisher's website no longer exists. Can't be that good.
Cons
"Netpia" apparently has gone out of business. Norton also lists this product as one that list many false positives.

Usually it's safer to buy programs. Tests I have done on ones to be paid for I have had no problems with.
A free program "could" contain problems but not always though.

This software was on Google toolbar, I downloaded it and it scanned my computer saying I had viruses. It didn't remove them. The next day I went to the store and purchased another virus remover. While installing my new software the PC remover popped up and froze my computer. I turned my computer off and then on again it popped up and froze my computer. Then I thought well maybe this is a combination with what I was downloading. So I registered it and paid for it thinking I was running my new purchased program. Well anyway, I told them it was in error, that I didn't want it. They won't refund my money. Lesson Learned.

It's free and seems to do what it says it will. But it doesn't have the options I need in an application of this type. There is no virus in this product as one person claimed but there seems to be a few security applications that will alert to it. I use "Kaspersky" and had no such alert. If you take your time and research the things it finds to be sure, then go for it. Just use some common sense and look before you leap. It's free and that usually means, "you get what you pay for".

the "Advanced" tab is the most useful feature. You can delete unneeded regystry and system files, that just slow your cpu. There's an option that checks the running processes, so if your task manager doesnt wanna work (i've experienced this) you can close any anoying app here. If you have some start apps that you dont need, you can disable them too.
Cons
Not so good as and anti-spyware, but some times has found things that ad-aware ignore. The advanced tab is not made for newbies, so don't mess unless you are sure of what you are doing.

This goes for wanting to see what any software wants to delete. Any web page I want to visit. And anything I want or don't want on my system. I just can't recommend any software that doesn't allow me these options. I'm grown. Although I won't knock what someone else's decision as to what they want to use, I won't recommend this to an enemy. My trusted security software is enough to protect my computer.
Cons
But the worst thing is "AntiVir Premium" hit on this several times as did "Hijack This". Free or not, it's not for me.
