"Stay away! If it sounds too good to be true...."
Cons: I am not one for reviewing programs, but this misleading piece of trash led me to voice my opinion...This program is basically a glorified registry repair program, and not a very good one at that. There are many reasons to stay away from it:
1) Although unlike previous reviewers, it did not trash my system, it certainly didn't come close to fixing all the errors - even within the registry (the only place it scans for errors).
2)Be careful - you can download the program and scan for errors for free, but to fix the errors it costs you for the key the software requires. And speaking of which...
3)It will cost you ALOT. Especially for what the program does, it's simply not worth it at all. It is a RIP OFF. However, if you need a key you can use GOOGLE for further information...
4)Bottom line - If it sounds to good to be true, then it is. I have a big problem with how they market this crappy program and how much they charge for it. Shame on them and shame on download.com for letting them even appear on their website. Try an alternate registry repair program and not this garbage. I am sick for even giving it one star.

"It didn't fix my dll file problem."
Pros: Easy to use
Cons: Aside from not fixing my dll error, I have emailed pcbugdoctor twice and haven't got any response from them. I rated it one star because it did not fix my dll error as it promised. Forty bucks down the drain. Too expensive for something that doesn't do what it say's it will do. It should have been free.

Pros: In April 2004 I had serious problems with xp-pro. M/soft couldn't help, so I bought PC-bug doctor & the result was amazing. Renewal date came this year but I thought that I could manage without it.
This week, my pc went into a crawl and even the mouse pointer would only move very slowly. Anti-virus scan took 4hrs. when it would normaly take 20mins. Once again I had to subscribe to PC bug doc. and everything is back to normal.
Cons: The price, and the fact that they automatically renew your subscription unless you put a stop to it. It also removes some icons from the desktop which have to be put back after each scan.

"SCAM-SCAM-SCAM-SCAM-SCAM-SCAM-SCAM-SCAM"
Cons: Scanned my pc using this product and then decided to pay for the full version......Big mistake.Contacted Bug Doctor but never had a reply.At the moment i am trying to get my money back off my credit card company.With the amount of negative feedback they have on here i don't know why they are STILL allowed to use this site. Buy it, but you will soon regret it.YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.
