PAL Computer Surveillance System 2004 is a combination of a Powerful web filtering engine and a Keylogger/PC Spy program. The Filter is able read websites and decided if they are appropriate or not if it finds a combination of words setup by the USER, it will also block pages by address, domain, and meta tags. The Keylogger and PC Spying (Screenshot) mechanism records every keystrock typed, screen movement, actions, programs used, and either saves them or emails them to the USER who wants to review them. It can even email a report when needed or in a specific event (i.e. if someone types something inappropriate. This version 3 incorporates greater security, filtering, key logging, and monitoring features.

This application works in the background to monitor all user activity, but suffers from usability issues. PAL Computer Surveillance System has a cluttered tabbed interface that could confuse novice users. The application has two primary goals. As a Web-content filter, the program screens explicit keywords, Web addresses, and meta tags. You can select forbidden words, addresses, and domains. The program's keylogging feature stores every key press and select screenshots. The software creates an easily understandable log file viewable only by the user who installed the program. The screenshot logger effectively captures examples of user activity. This application includes an auto e-mailer tool that delivers log reports directly to your in-box and password protection to keep your administrative settings safe from restricted users. Novices may find it difficult to set options with this application, but intermediate to advanced users who want to control Web access and monitor other users can benefit from this title.

  Pros: NO PROS TO SOMETHING THAT CONTAINS SPYWARE.

  Cons: The cons--THIS IS SPYWARE!!
