"Did not live up to my expectations"

    April 28, 2009  |   By poulstaun

    Version: Orphalese Tarot 8.6.1.1

    Pros

The money back service- was ok

    Cons

There was from the start only two ways to lay the deck.
And I was unable to get others lay-ups downloaded.
The program did not live up to my satisfaction

    Summary

I found that it was not to functional.

    April 11, 2009  |   By minkmink

    Version: Orphalese Tarot 8.6.1.1

    Pros

Very versatile. Exactly as mentioned by the software developer.

    Cons

Not that I can think of. Its almost perfect!

    Summary

Almost like handling tarot cards manually! believe me you wont need any other tarot software after this. I've purchased most recommended tarot software but none can compare to this! I use it daily. Dont let the price deceive you, there are other more expensive software but not this great. A bargain for such great software. Thanks to the developer of this quality software.

    "Excellent Tarot program"

    October 6, 2008  |   By Stareyez

    Version: Orphalese Tarot 8.5.1.7

    Pros

-Ability to use hundreds of deck images available on the net
-Move cards around on-screen as you would a real deck
-many decks available on the Orphalese site
-many more...(resizing of card images is great!)

    Cons

-the online community seems a little sparse but it "is" there

    Summary

If you are interested in the Tarot, get this program-especially if you want to get in there and install decks, spreads and customize. For 3x's the price, Matrix Tarot Professional is a good program that will hold your hand a bit more, comes with some nice table backgrounds and a nice selection of decks and spreads and nicely formatted divination print-out but offers a smaller amount of customization and more importantly, does not have the "feel" of using real cards that Orphalese has.

    Highly recommended.
    Peace

"This program creates a tarot community, you do feel like you belong to it."

    April 15, 2006  |   By lollipopman

    Version: Orphalese Tarot 7.0.0.11

    Pros

When you buy it, you can access 700 tarots, and many spreads. This program gives so much, you can also download spreads. You can upload your own tarot, and othe people can share it. It has a forum, for little things you want to say. You can also make your own spread, and share it others. It can all be accessed by right clicking the blank card, and then enter the tarot zone.

    Cons

Addictive. I keep downloading tarot decks, and different spreads! It is all for free.

"A great program and a true bargain"

    May 30, 2005  |   By Cowhead

    Version: Orphalese Tarot 6.3

    Pros

Extremely flexible, useable program. Not a simplistic canned-reading generator, but an excellent tool for doing your own readings. The ability to create and import card-notes will make it a useful learning environment for the beginner, and its rich feature set makes it a joy for the experienced reader. The ease of switching and comparing decks makes it a great study tool as well. The programmer is very responsive and is continually improving the program. Don't let the low price fool you; this is high quality software, and a great bargain.
