Version: Orca Browser 1.1 build 1
"Editor obviously not familiar with Avant/Orca browsers"
Pros: Extremely fast and easy to use. Autofill is great. USB version is great. I take it with me when traveling internationally - just plug in flash drive to any computer and instantly have my own browser with all bookmarks and passwords.
Cons: Earlier beta versions locked up alot for me. The current version seems to be fine - been using about a week.
Summary: ORCA = BEST! If you have used the Avant Browser, changing to Orca Browser will be painless and seamless (they're made by same company). Editor seems to not have used Avant - maybe just learning curve but I don't remember Avant being that hard to use at first. I used Avant for years and now but now switching to ORCA because it's even FASTER. The menus, features, and even appearance seem to be the same but I believe you can use Firefox plugins with ORCA. I have tried many browsers including Chrome and I always come back to Avant and now Orca.
My favorite feature is autofill which with ONE click opens page, fills in username, password, and whatever else you had previously specified for that form, and hits "enter/submit". All the other browsers that I've looked at with a similar feature require more than one click - obviously might be one I missed.
Another feature I like is mouse gestures - for example: You see text in page you want to do a search on. Highlight it and drag - search results pop up in new window (or same one depending on your settings). Or - you want to click link but open it in new window. Instead or right click bla bla bla you just click and drag - poof!
