"Mslware is the least of your problems soon I think."
Version: Orbit Downloader 4.1.0.2
Pros
When is the law coming down that is going to require all ISP,s to follow all subscibers moves on the net, and keep them for some absurd amount of time, as if the notion itself isn't outrageous enough! It's encryption x 6, offshore. I hope it works. What creeps are running this country forever now anyway? It isn't the people we see or vote for and this is getting serious now. Fuggedabouid. We been had folks.

Version: Orbit Downloader 4.1.0.2
Pros
catches most of the regular downloads(for eg- subtitle file, pdf document ,videos with proper download links etc.)from all browsers except opera.gives more speed than regular browser downloader might.
Cons
the get it function used to grab videos and other media content doesn't work with any browser except internet explorer.sometimes it wont finish some downloads.doesn't work at all with opera.
Summary
i have used most download managers such as flasget,DAP(the worst never use it),FDM,IDM and orbit.out of all these IDM is the best as it truly accelerates your download at times but since its not free i would suggest any one from orbit or FDM(free download manager)

"Don't PAY for downloaders"
Version: Orbit Downloader 4.1.0.2
Pros
My Orbit and Free You Tube Downloader worked very well on my computers. I had IDM before and found out IDM gets suspiciously slow at times because it is in fact quietly sending site data signals back! Isn't that illegal? I have been sucked in by Internet Download Manager enough.
Cons
Like all the downloaders I've used, the downloading speed is as good as the servers you logged on to.
Summary
I recommend only Orbit and Free YouTube Downloader which worked so well on my computers. Updating is very good so far.

"BEWARE, INFESTED WITH MALWARE"
Version: Orbit Downloader 4.1.0.2
Pros
Downloads stuff
Cons
Malware infested
Summary
Immediately after I installed (I used Chrome integration) I had a popup about updating other software from Orbit and my webpages started redirecting. DO NOT USE!
-
"Firefox integration is a lie"
Version: Orbit Downloader 4.1.0.2
Pros
None, if you're a FF user
Cons
Screws up your browser
Summary
Since installing Orbit, I haven't been able to add addons to my browser. Integration is awful and buggy. To say it integrates with FF is a complete lie.
If you use Firefox as a browser, DO NOT USE ORBIT DOWNLOADER. It might as well be malware. I don't know why Orbit claims it works with Firefox, but they should be ashamed of themselves for making that claim.
This is inexcusable. -
"Useful tool"
Version: Orbit Downloader 4.1.0.2
Pros
-works well as a download manager
-automatically transfers large downloads from chrome, firefoxe, maxthon etc to itself
-the Grab++ program allows you to monitor all flash and flv content coming in on internet explorer and download them (ie. it downloads videos and flash games)Cons
-could use Grab++ integration in other browsers
Summary
-This isnt a simple download manager, its a very useful program that can integrate into several web browsers and includes a tool that helps download flash games and videos.
-suits most downloading needs -
"Excellente!"

The downloader works very well although there are some compatiblity problems with chrome and some firefox plugins integrate with a browser better and are able to capture a movie in fewer steps
Summary
Very good program; functional and good for a person who tries to grab any type of media files ocassionally.

"Never Got Past Setup."
Version: Orbit Downloader 4.1.0.2
Pros
Slightly newer than previous version.
Can't say much because I never got it past Setup.
So that's is all the Pros I can gather honestly.Cons
Didn't ever properly Set Up on my computer.
Each Setup always told me that the UNC/drive
that I selected could not be used, then closed,
leaving me with no clue as to how to solve this issue.
This happened with all 6 copies that I downloaded from Cnet
and 3 copies from Orbitdownloader.com
I saw this Same exact sequence happen to my friend on his computer again and again.
And Our computers differ in a almost every way.
Mine: 15 Inch,4 month old,64-bit Windows 7 Home Premium Laptop.
My Friend's:10 In.,2 Yr. old,32bit Windows 7 Ultimate Netbook.
*Other Friends Of Mine have reported such, but I have not been able to verify such claims.
This is to show that the error I encountered is unbiased and not specific to my computer alone.Summary
I still use the previous version.
It's Tested and proven.
For the time being, the previous version
works very well for my needs.
In My Perspective,It's Better. -
"my favourite"
