-
"LACKS SOPHISTICATION"

-
"Best version yet."
Version: Opera 10.60
Pros
Faster than ever, simple to use, built in email and notepad and all the other features it's been the first to introduce over the years.
Cons
It used to have a sort of double back arrow that could take you straight back to the first page of a web site instead of having to go back a page at a time. I wish they'd bring that feature back.
-
"Best web browser i have ever used!!!!!!!"
Version: Opera 10.60
Pros
on my computer opera is faster, more customizable, slicker, and just better than any other browser, including IE, firefox, and chrome!!!!!!!!
Cons
Nothing!!!!!!!
Summary
best browser on the web, uses less memory than the other browsers that say that they're faster(theyre not faster)
-
"If you have an old computer, this browser is for you!"
Version: Opera 10.60
Pros
Fast, good alternative to IE8. Opera Link, Opera Unite, and Opera Turbo are good features. Very customizable, and you can have different skins for it.
Cons
Widgets are just plain stupid, none of them are good.
Summary
I have a nine year old IBM Thinkpad T20, and for it to browse at a little less then decent speed, it needs to have lightweight programs on it. I mean, I use CCleaner every day, and defrag once a week. I have to keep the programs on it the bare essentials and thats it. Opera is nice and lightweight, so it is the fastest browser on my old old computer. The only other browser on my computer is the Google Chrome Canary Build, and Google Chrome which is on the Stable Channel. Opera is waaaay faster than Chrome on my computer.
So overall, if you have an old computer, Opera 10.60 is for you. -
"Good.......but"
Version: Opera 10.60
Pros
Pretty fast. Almost as fast as chrome
Cons
Not widely supported, no useful extensions or addon marketplace, pretty bloated with that opera unite crap
Summary
Great browser, has a lot of potential, but just not there yet for me.
-
"The best internet browser out there!"
Version: Opera 10.60
Pros
I love how fast it is and how it saves your tabs when you close the window. I like how low key it is -- it leads to less viruses and spyware. Just look at Internet Explorer.
Cons
No complaints. I have loved Opera for the past 3 years.
-
"difficulty installing, delted it from my laptop"
Version: Opera 10.60
Pros
nothing at all
Cons
could not register, would not accept my password. Program would not recognize that I was using the required format of characters! Cleared cache and still would not respond. I uninstalled it immediately.
-
"It just gets better."
Version: Opera 10.60
Pros
The speed, built in notepad and everything else. Very versatile.
Cons
Haven't found any cons.
Summary
Opera is the best browser I've ever used. The last time I tried Chrome, I found in Task Manager that Google had included a lot of their unnecessary junk processes.
