    "EXCELLENT "ALTERNATIVE" BROWSER!!!!!!"

    July 24, 2007  |   By darthvador365

    Version: Opera 9.21

    Pros

    Fast and very safe

Make your web-surfing more enjoyable with "widgets"

    NO CRASHES EXPERIENCED

    Cons

Some sites require Internet Explorer. Google Toolbar and SiteAdvisor are not compatilble. (There's not even an unnofficial Siteadvisor button for this! Unlike Maxthon!)

It is highly recommended not to make this your main browser if you have to visit some sites that require Internet Explorer, and really need SiteAdvisor and Google Toolbar.

IF YOU DON'T NEED ANY OF THOSE, THEN THIS SHOULD BE THE PERFECT MAIN BROWSER. IF YOU DO, GET MAXTHON, HOWEVER, KEEP THIS AS AN ALTERNATE BROWSER, IF YOU FEEL LIKE YOU NEED TO EXPERIENCE FASTER PAGE LOADS.

"FAST! Way feature-packed, user-friendly & customizable. Why use anything else?"

    July 20, 2007  |   By Guitar Foundation

    Version: Opera 9.21

    Pros

It leaves IE6 in the dust (haven't tried IE7, and won't)! There's no comparison. IE is a tricycle and Opera is a Ferarri, except Opera is free. Speed, features, name any browser funtion you can think of, and Opera is better. Opera does so many things IE can't. Not just silly things, either, but really useful things. If you are using IE, I strongly recommend you try Opera. Give yourself a few days with it to get used to its features and look. My guess is you'll never look back. I read somewhere that Opera users tend to be evangelistic. I understand why. I have used Firefox once or twice, and have read nothing but good things about it. It may be just as good as Opera; try it and decide for yourself. For me, I have no reason to try it. Opera is so good I'm not looking to switch.

    Cons

Every once in a while I get a "your browser is not supported" message from a website. My first knee-jerk reaction is "Why not? My browser is so much better than the supported ones you list." Usually flipping the toggle for Opera to spoof IE fixes the problem. Sometimes it doesn't, but there is a way to actually open an IE window within Opera. I've sent a few e-mails to these websites asking them to expand their list of supported browsers since Opera is so popular (I'm an evangelist, remember?). As I understand it, older websites were written with code not as generic as that used today, and when they are hit with something other than IE or Netscape they halt. It's a minor annoyance. BTW, no, I don't work for Opera!

    "The BEST Browser ever!!!!!!! :O)"

    July 16, 2007  |   By DeciaBodden

    Version: Opera 9.21

    Pros

I will tell you a little about OPERA:

Opera is Everything! It's Perfect! I love this program, because I could change it in any way I want. I change the color, skin, font, icons, lenguages, pop ups, etc. Have interesting widgets. the zoom is very useful, setting the font at any size(good for your eyes) you could fit the page, so no need for scrooling up,down or side to side. You also could download Opera Mini for your device(cell), for your Nintendo, etc....Well I'm in LOVE with OPERA!

    OHHH and is FAST!

    Cons

sometimes some sites aren't OPERA friendly :(

Only in that case I use Explorer (the SLOW turtle)
