    "Desktop + Android = Good"

    July 6, 2015  |   By John4217D

    Version: Opera 30.0.1835.88

    Pros

    Speed Dial!
    Syncing
    Stability

    Cons

    Lacks some Chrome extensions.

    Summary

As the Android version gets better, there's more sense in using Opera for desktop. Syncing your folders and bookmarks is on a high level. Overall, Opera gets better.

"NOT EVEN CLOSE TO THE ORIGINAL OPERA BUT GUESS WHAT?"

    July 5, 2015  |   By tteksystems

    Version: Opera 30.0.1835.88

    Pros

It carries the name of what was once an excellent browser

    Cons

Is using the name of what was once a fantastic browser but has taken too many steps in directions that do not suit the original power users of their original version

    Summary

It might be over for the name "Opera" being a great browser but I have stumbled on something very interesting. The almost all of the original team of members who wrote, and supported the original Opera is back!!!. They know what has been going on and see clearly just how screwed up this new Opera is. They have a new browser that I am sure is geared towards meeting the needs of all of us users who once favored their premium browser and their vision. They have a story that clearly states the following:

The browser we once loved has changed its direction. Sadly, it is no longer serving its community of users and contributors - who helped build the browser in the first place.

This is a very clear look at how those guys see the way new Opera has evolved

Now, it may be new, with alot of work ahead, but I am following these guys and their current browser creation and it is called "Vivaldi". I hope ALL of the people who seem to claim this new Opera is the holy grail open their eyes one day because if they ever were serious users of the original Opera they would not have a word to say that shows any love to this new Opera crap. I've got enough time in on several browsers and I've found ways to make my Firfox close to my former Opra 12.xx. It's rather secure but I still prefer the way my old Opera handled all of my needs. New Opera is a complete failure except for those light users who do not need a powerful web broswer that makes sense. Those people just do not use the web enough to know what a bad browser is so how would they know?

Please take heed to the words of the original creators of Opera. This new Opera is so far out in left field that it makes little to no sense why anyone who knows anything would even give it a look. ViValdi is now the name I would be keeping a watch for. They have a few releases and they have a site showing all of the original members of the old Opera as they are together once again and their comment is they are making a browser for their friends. All of us who loved and supported the old Opera. We are those friends. Jump on board now and help support these guys again. They are probably gonna be going through some rough hurdles during the course of the development but I expect great things from them.

I cannot believe this new Opera is still being supported. I expect it to fail completely eventually. It's not even worthy to be considered a top browser anymore. Long Live OLD OPERA THROUGH THE NEW VIVALDI!!!!
