The premise of Opera has always been the same--develop the fastest, smallest, and most full-featured browser available--and the latest version maintains the tradition. Opera has all the basics covered, including tabbed browsing with mouse-over preview, a search bar, advanced bookmarking tools, and simple integration with your favorite e-mail and chat clients. Mouse-gesture support, keyboard shortcuts, and drag-and-drop functionality further enhance your surfing experience.
With solid basics, Opera's extra features push it to the top of the class. Integrated theme support lets you preview themes from within the interface so you know what you're getting before you download. Widgets (akin to Mac OS X dashboard applications) are small, useful programs that appear in a window from any app while Opera is running. The Wand utility combines autofill with saved passwords. We really like the addition of torrent support and real-time fraud protection for safer browsing.
A new feature in version 9.2, Speed Dial, permanently assigns bookmarks and tabs any digit from one through nine. When you enter one of those numbers into the URL bar, the corresponding site loads when you hit enter. Overall, we think Opera might have what it takes to unseat even the biggest-name browsers if users give it the opportunity. Opera is a must-download for those looking for a full-featured browser with added extras.

Version: Opera 9.21
"victim of non-standard websites..."
Pros: Opera is speedy, and one of the few that actually adheres to W3C standards. Installation is fast and simple. People thought Firefox was so innovative, but Opera was offering tabbed browsing and extensions over a decade ago.
Cons: It's not really Opera's fault, but there are a lot of web sites that won't display properly in Opera, because they were designed specifically for IE or Opera. This includes a lot of Ajax-enabled sites, so things like Google Docs, ThinkFree, and a number of online banking sites don't work with it.
That's a real shame, because Opera has a lot going for it.

Version: Opera 9.21
"Can be the world's favourite Browser..."
Pros: Safe and secure and the only browser that matches it for speed is Safari. If Opera had the features of Maxthon 2 or the availability of Extensions of FireFox 2 then it would no doubt become the World's No.1 Browser.
Cons: Lacks features to make it more user friendly, and has some problems with certain websites.

Version: Opera 9.21
Pros: Just easy to use since version 8.xx. Just because Firefox has more add-ons, that doesn't make it a better browser.

Version: Opera 9.21
"Opera is the safest, fastest, and best web browser!"
Pros: Opera 9.21 offers Speed Dial, which is actually a nice little feature. Widgets are great and it's still faster than Firefox or IE. It just keeps getting better and better.
Cons: I know it's not Opera's fault, but not all websites are rendered well. Developers need to understand that people use Opera too, and not just Firefox and IE7.
