The premise of Opera has always been the same--develop the fastest, smallest, and most full-featured browser available--and the latest version maintains the tradition. Opera has all the basics covered, including tabbed browsing with an added functionality that lets you hover over a tab to preview a page; a search bar with Google and several other popular portals; advanced bookmarking tools, including one that lets you easily import from any popular browser; and simple integration with your favorite e-mail and chat clients. Mouse-gesture support, keyboard shortcuts, and drag-and-drop functionality further enhance your surfing experience.
With solid basics, Opera's extra features push it to the top of the class. Integrated theme support lets you preview and download themes from within the interface so you know what you're getting before you download. Widgets (akin to Mac OS X dashboard applications) are small, useful programs that appear in a window from any app while Opera is running. The Wand utility helps you autofill online forms and lets you securely save passwords for multiple sites. We really like the addition of BitTorrent support, letting you drop a Torrent link into the address bar and begin a file transfer immediately without the need for an extra app. Overall, we think Opera might have what it takes to unseat even the biggest-name browsers if users give it the opportunity. Opera is a must-download for those looking for a full-featured browser with added extras.

"HONESTLY.... IT IS PERFECT NOW!!! THE BEST BROWSER IN THE WORLD!!!"
Pros: I'm a Windows OS user, I'm using Opera for about 7 months from now. Before i was using IE, then I've tried Mozillz Firefox. Back then I've just hook with Mozilla(great browser also). From the start I was hesitant to use Opera for my Loyalty to Firefox cause I was familiar with Mozilla.But for curiosity Ive tried Opera. Please I'm not comparing the two great browser... just want to state that later on Opera fits my needs browsing the net for many reason. One, is Features are very user friendly. All are intact well crafted anywhere you navigate the interface, very user friendly indeed, and the browser is also very organized with it's features(very well presented of the manner of your needs for browsing). Second, I really found Opera really fast browser as the author claimed it to be, and yes it is.Third, very neat interface, TAB BROWSING IS AWESOME. Fourth, the security is unbeliveable. Very,very strong pop up blocker. And when I check my privacy concern visiting some sites that can read ip add. OS, etc., Opera didn't give an info about your plugins. This Version for me is PERFECT. Hope this will continue up to then. Two thumbs up!!! A must have!!! Many thanks to the author.

Pros: I've used many browsers over the years, from Netscape 2.0 on, through Explorer and Safari. Opera 9 is the best I've ever used. Fast, packed with ergonomic features, easy to personalise with great auto-loading skins. Don't go for the Firefox hype - this is the real alternative.

"Fine browser, fast loading of pages."
Pros: Loads pages as quickly or faster than other browsers I use. Nice touches like popup blocking and widgits.
Cons: It doesn't want to load a webcam I have on my personalized Google page but it seems to handle everything else I've thrown at it so far.
