The premise of Opera has always been the same: Develop the fastest, smallest, and most full-featured browser available. Opera maintains the tradition with its latest version. Offering unprecedented speed and low memory usage, Opera is still embarrassing the big browsers by loading most Web pages in a fraction of the time they use.
In addition to fine-tuning speed and performance, the browser includes support for bidirectional languages such as Arabic and Hebrew, a slide-show feature for Web-based photos, and an option that allows users of the free, ad-sponsored version to receive either text-based ads served by Google or generic graphical ads. Other features sweeten the deal, such as spatial navigation, a built-in e-mail client with spam parameters, and IRC chat support. As always, Opera continues to offer good-quality encryption and other security measures.
Although Opera's default interface wastes space with redundant tools that visually overpower the browser window, it is wholly customizable. Skins let you change the browser's look to suit your preferences. Anyone looking at alternate browsers should check out Opera, the leader of the pack.
Publisher's description

Version: Opera 7.54
Pros: A highly featureful browser. Rather this than IE. And it works on a tonne of operating systems without sacrificing functionality. IE on Mac comes to mind here... Being that it generally sucks more on Mac.
Hello dave.
Cons: no extensions, doesn't matter.
if you want to insert 'Lorem Ipsum..' into a textbox at the click of mouse, then get firefox.

"Fast, easy to use, easy to install/unistall, 100% customizable!"
Pros: FREE, you can custumize almost ANYTHING you like in the browser! Yes, buttuns, colors, special efects, address bar in the bottom, personalbar, tabs bar. Lots of skins with colorfull or just "simple-advanced-user-like"!
Plus, you got BLOCK UNWANTED POPUPS, this means, it will not block when YOU choose to click on a link that opens in popups, just that boring Ads and thinks like that!
But if you want to, you can choose to block all, or none, or open popups in background. You can use it to check mail also. Limit number of visited websites to remember, also number of typed(is not the same thing!) sites.
Perfect, Opera DOESN'T GET ANY SPYWARE.ADAWARE,TROJAN, WORM or any of the kind, like Internet Explorer.
You dont need to make those "critical update" every week! Because opera is SAFE.
Opera works on Windows 95/98/ME/NT/2000/XP
Linux, FreeBSD i386, MacOS, Solaris, OS/2 and much more... (It has also a very popular Mobile version)
You can download as MANY languages as you want:

Pros: Fast and works well.
They have versions for mobile phones which can resize large sites to a small mobile phone screen.
Cons: Too graphics heavy.
Costs money. Other browsers are free.
