"Faster than native browser"
Version: Opera Mini 5
Pros
I use it on my Blackberry and it is superior to the native brower. It loads pages faster, and has the benefit of tabbed browsing. It is also aesthetically very pleasing, especially with relation to the speed dial options with the preview of the page.
Cons
When using the search bar, if you want to search for something new, or even refine your search it doesn't work and you are required to return to the homepage to then enter a new search term. This is annoying put is no big deal
Summary
Searching history is great, and overall it gives a more computer like feel on a mobile device.

"Beats Pocket IE for sure (Dell Axim X51, WM6)"
Version: Opera Mini 5
Pros
Very nice interface. Tabs are good. Browsing is a breeze. Loads pages pretty fast.
Cons
Blocks out entire screen and can't access the start button, or my switcher bar to switch to another program. It does not come with a finger keyboard. Not very intuitive to add pages to the start-up page. Don't seem to load pictures on web pages.
Summary
This is for Opera Mini 5 Beta. I know it doesn't do Flash - so I can live with that. The interface is sexy, and gives you that iPod feel. I'm using it on my Dell Axim QVGA and it looks great. Scrolling through pages with your finger is a little finicky. The page tends to jump forward more than where you want it to stop..but that's ok.

"Can't access many mobile websites"
Version: Opera Mini 5
Pros
Improved interface. Faster navigation and display.
Cons
Websites now think this is a desktop browser (unlike Mini 4.2) and many won't let you see mobile websites.
Summary
The new version looks better and navigation is more intuitive. Still fastest to load web pages. But a big disappointment is since the update many websites insist on sending Mini 5 the full website display (even if you enter the mobile URL).

"Runs on Virgin Mobile's Kyocera x-tc. Pretty sweet."
Version: Opera Mini 5 beta 2
Pros
Works well with common website and mobil wap sites. between Openwave, Opera mini 4.2 and Opera mini 5.2 Opera mini 5.2 is the best. The latest version does have bookmark sync w/your home computer.
Cons
With Virgin's phone you 1st have to download Opera min 4.2 from Virgin's website then you can use 4.2 to get 5.2. No video on this phone.
Summary
If you are using Virgin's Kyocera x-tc then you want this browser.
