From Opera Software :Opera Mini allows you access to the full Internet on your mobile phone. Users can surf any Web site such as Google, Yahoo, Amazon, eBay, and Hotmail on their mobile phone just like they would on a normal computer. This includes the vast majority of today's WAP-enabled phones. Instead of requiring the phone to process Web pages, it uses a remote server to pre-process the page before sending it to the phone. This is perfect for phones with very low resources, or low bandwidth connections.

"This is a very, very cool app"
Pros: Small, fast, smart, quick keypad shortcuts, knocks spots off the WAP browser. Great for interactive stuff; eBay, flight reservations etc. And not only free but SSR saves download fees too. This is a full HTML browser. Why buy a smartphone?
Cons: No support for PDF downloads. Cannot save pages. Yet.

"Finally, the web on my cell phone as it looks on my computer screen."
Pros: You can browese ANY web site on your cell phone and it "is" the web site. No more remembering, or looking for, those special cell phone formatted editions of any web site. Easier browsing than my built in cell phone broswer. Cool.......
Cons: There is a little lag waiting for Opera to format your requested web site for cell phones, but then the whole page downloads quickly.

"Looked good, shame it wouldn't work on Samsung D500."
Pros: Wouldn't know.
Cons: When sending HTTP info (during setup) it just seems to hang forever. Maybe I'm just being impatient, but I think waiting over 10 minutes is long enough.

"Nice Program But Has Its Flaws"
Pros: Pages load very quickly and the size of each page is reasonable. It's like working on a browser on your PC!!
Cons: It worked well for a few days but then it said that there was an error while loading a page. This happened when I tried to load any page. This problem was solved when I deleted and re-installed the application.
