This small and simple utility presents you with an additional choice to browse folders, but it didn't always work as promised. After installation, Open Subfolder can be found by right-clicking on any folder in Windows Explorer. Select the Open Subfolder menu item and you'll see the folder's files and subfolders. You can continue through all levels to see folder contents. During testing, however, the program didn't accurately identify all subfolders or show their contents. When the program works correctly, it's a nice time-saver to easily peruse folders, but when it doesn't identify a subfolder you'll have to resort to the standard methods offered by Windows Explorer. No Help file is included, so you're left to figure things out. That said, Open Subfolder is offered free of charge and anyone can use it.Publisher's description
From Bubble Pop Software :Open Subfolder is a contextual menu extension for Windows, which adds the ability to open a folder located inside of the currently selected folder. To use the extension, select a folder and open the contextual menu for it. If the selected folder contains one or more folders, these folders will be listed in a submenu attached to a new menu item in the contextual menu entitled "Open Subfolder". In addition, if those folders listed also contain folders, their menu items will also have submenus attached containing a list of folders contained within them. If you select one of those menu items, the folder with that name will be opened on the desktop.

Version: Open Subfolder 1.0.2
"Exactly what it promises! Simple and very worthwhile!"
Pros: This is a simple way to get a "mini-explorer" style structure when you just need a quick glimpse into a folder to find a file. It feels native to the OS, and aught to be included as a part of WinXPVISTA - whatever, in the future.
Cons: No cons -- it's too simple for a con. Anything more complicated would be a con.
