Version: Online Armor 2.1.0.131
"Support from Tall Emu rivals the best I've ever seen!"
Pros: Installed on my XP Pro system & threw everything I could find at it with a 100% test score! It's Comodo with a brain! But I'm using the paid version thanks to the great folks @ Tall Emu. The paid version has won many awards including "Best Firewall for 2008". It effectively passed every single leak test I could find but remembers my settings. For an XP system, this is #1 in every way.
Cons: I can't comment on the free version but the paid upgrade is impossible to fault with the exception of "not Vista compatible". I can't wait for a Vista version.

"You gotta PAY for more protection..."
Pros: it's free because of what little you get...
Cons: you have to upgrade and PAY for additional protection if you do online banking, anti-phishing filter, e-mail protection, web protection, spoofing shield, online support, etc.etc.etc....go to their comparison page at their website!

"iexplorer.exe - Applicationerror"
Pros: Online Armor Free looks like the best Firewall to me, with complete stealthed ports and has passed all the leaktests.
Cons: Therefore I am very disappointed, when I noticed, after I closed my Internet Explorer (IE7) with Online Armor Free already installed, the following message:
"iexplorer.exe - Applicationerror, The instruction on 0x746bc7d6 refers to memory 0x00000012. The read-or write operation ("read") on the memory is failed. Click on OK to end the program, OK".

"Probably the best free firewall you will get!"
Pros: Most free firewalls are either full of pop-ups or nagging reminders to buy the full product. Armor however gives you optimum protection and without the annoying pop-ups and nagging flash displays of which attempt you to buy the full product. This software is as effective...but as easy going as you can get for a decent firewall. The interface is as basic as you can get with absolutely no frills and although it may sit silently in the background...be assured that the alerts can be quite active. Twinned with 'winpatrol' this software gives great everyday protection and is far more effective than most other free firewalls. This is a superb professional firewall that definately concentrates on doing it's job and it does it very well.
Cons: This is not a dislike as such...BUT if you are using Kaspersky anti-virus, make sure that if you use Armor firewall...that the 'pro-active' defense (defence)is disabled otherwise it will clash with this software. (always best to check software compatabilities!)

Version: Online Armor 2.1.0.131
Pros: It really monitors everything that goes on.
Cons: However, I'm finding the constant pop ups annoying. But, it's good to know that the program is really on the ball.
