SkyDrive gives you an intuitive way to store your files to the cloud and access them anytime from any other device you may have.
The application's clear and intuitive interface makes it easy to navigate through the contents of your SkyDrive account. If you don't have an account already, one can be established easily during setup using a valid e-mail address. Using this app you can easily access all your files located on SkyDrive and view recently used and shared documents, all of which open for easy viewing on their own screen. Icons at the bottom of the screen allow for quick access to the main features of the application. With just a click we were able to create a new folder as well as sync any new photos, videos, or files. Uploading files was easy, as well, and the application quickly populated each new file and its corresponding information in the program's main interface. Overall, the application performed well on our test device, although occasionally we did experience a minor lag.
SkyDrive will be useful to anyone who needs some free storage space to back up their files and access them on the go from their mobile device. This application gives you 7GB of free cloud storage, which is enough to thoroughly evaluate its usefulness. If you need additional storage you may purchase plans from Microsoft, starting at $10 per month.
