Version: On-screen Ruler 1.0.1
"small, fast, versatile and precise - just what I needed"
Pros: The choice of 5 units in the latest version coupled with the transparency options makes this one of the most used tools.
Cons: diagional measurements would have been nice
Summary: I use this everyday to lay out web pages and dialog boxes. The keyboard shortcuts make positioning this a snap. And I can change units at will using the scroll button of the mouse. The tracer is the inverse color of the ruler, so I can always see it. Latest versions are here:
