"This is a great product!"
Version: OfficeCalendar for Microsoft Outlook 2.3.2
Pros
We tried Office Calendar on the recommendation of our IT consultant. He came in and installed it and in about 30 minutes we were able to see and make changes to co-worker's calendars and contacts. We thought we would have to buy Microsoft Exchange to be able to do this but we didn't! The product works great and the support, the one time we had to use it, was timely and very helpful.
Cons
The only complaint we have, and it is not a complaint really, more of a feature enhancement wish, is that the product would allow us to share our tasks the same way it lets us share our calendars and contacts. Besides that, we absolutely love it!

"It does not work"
Version: OfficeCalendar for Microsoft Outlook 2.0
Pros
there are none. Can't even select a no star rating
Cons
The support you have to pay for.
If you have to reload the server PC unless you remember the original pcs name you have to a get reset code by fax.
Do not buy this software it is rubbish. You would be better off using a paper calendar and moving it between offices.

"Excellent product for sharing calendars"
Version: OfficeCalendar for Microsoft Outlook 2.0
Pros
My company has 8 employees and when I found out how much Exchange Server was gong to cost (ouch!) I immediately started looking for alternatives. The problem was that everyone wanted to keep using Outlook. So we did not look at any Outlook altnernatives. I came across this product and decided to give it try. The setup was quick and easy once I read through the first few pages of the manual (you'll need to download it from their website). Within about 15 minutes we were sharing calendars between 5 or 6 computers. We did have one computer that initially would not sync. My partner called up the company and after a few minutes they had it fixed though (excellent support - they actually answer the phone). After the trial period ended we purchased the product and we've been using it since. We purchased the product in January 05. Since then we've had a couple of issues - one actually turned out to be a user error and the other was a software problem (daylight savings time problem) that required an update which was provided to us for free.
Our experience has been totally different from some of these others and because we've saved so much money using this software problem and the company has been so helpful to us, I've felt compelled to share our experience which has been very good, which is rare these days with software.
We multiple version of Outlook (XP and 2003, but no 2000)and have found no issues between them. Also, we use the calendar very extensively - a lot of recurring appointments and exceptions and those work pefectly once we installed the update.
If you are looking for a good altnertive to Microsoft Exchange server then you need to try this product - I highly recommend it.
Cons
The only negative thing is that I wished it had a group contact view like its group calendar view.

"Has Outlook inter-version and time format problems"
Version: OfficeCalendar for Microsoft Outlook 2.0
Pros
Nice in theory.
Cons
Missed the mark in execution.
Cannot deal with non-standard time formats like 4 digit 24 hour times.
Has problems synchronision different versions of Outlook.
Continuously hiccups on recurrence patterns.
Updates records that have not changed every sync, resulting in buckets of deleted records.

"Bait and switch"
Version: OfficeCalendar for Microsoft Outlook 2.0
Cons
Causes outlook to stop responding. never completely confident in syncing of calendars, always checking by walking to other office defeating the purpose of the software. 14 day trial is not long enough to get an accurate assessment of how it is going to work within an environment. Was necessary to uninstall and reinstall to get any sort of functionality. Be sure of purchase, because once problems start occuring after trial, there is no chance of being recompensated.
