    "It's not free."

    Pros

    None: I would not know if there are any pros, as I am not paying for software that is advertised as free.

    Cons

    It is not free as claimed. I am not paying for software that is advertised as free.

    Summary

    Might consider purchasing software if it were not falsely advertised as free. In fact I have purchased a number of different software products, that were either try before you buy, or advertised correctly as software that has a dollar figure attached. Not sneaky underhanded method of advertising.
