Oceanlyz is a Matlab toolbox for analyzing measured waves data. Series of Matlab functions are presented in this toolbox which are developed in order to analyzing measured waves data either from the field (i.e. at the ocean, sea, lake, or coastal area) or from the laboratory. This toolbox is capable of analyzing data measured by wave gauges, wave logger, wave staff, ADV or any other instruments that used for data collections. Although this toolbox developed for ocean/sea waves, it can be used for analyzing any type of wave data. Selected Applications: - Calculating wave properties such as significant wave height and peak wave period from field/lab measured data. - Using spectral analysis and zero-crossing method for wave analyzing. - Partitioning wave spectra and separating wind-sea and swell data. - Correcting pressure data that read by pressure sensor to account for pressure attenuation in depth. - Applying Diagnostic Tail.
