Version: ObjectBar 2.1
"Worlds worst customer service and watchout for Impulse"
Pros: Great Hype,
Cons: Short on contect delivery as in installing their software. Impulse (their loader) is malformed and does not work behind a firewall, and slows down system performance. I'd give them a Zero if the system would let me
Summary: Don't waste your money, if you have any kind of install problem you are on your own. Also the rejects that write their help pages could use some lessons in courtesy and edicate. Everyone is a pirate in their eyes.
Their Impulse method of installing reads your system specs and sends it to Stardock, they do not guarentee not to use the information for gain. Also if your target system is behind a tight firewall or you can not access the internet, you may as well send your money to me, because I will give you the same performance that Stardock gave me, NOTHING! and better yet, I will not promise you that it will work and at least I will not call you a pirate either. Note, their promised 16 hours of response to a ticket is really 48 hours. Their promised 16 hours is really core business hours or two business days. 48 hours to respond to a new sales install problem is highly unreasonable.
Object Bar (demo) seems to have issues with Java 1.5/1.6 so expect a couple of crashes too.
