OSXnews specifications

This is a minor version change but a major update. The UI has now been changed to closely match that of Mail.app in Tiger (it still work in panther though) . OSXNews is also a universal binary now which should be good news for our intel using friends. I have added support for localization of the application by updating a few xml and one HTML file. There should be no need to play with nib files or anything like that. This way localization should seem less problematic and challenging.

Among other new features is the addition of keyboard navigation with up and down arrow keys as well as expanding and collapsing threads with the T and C keys.

The message window also displays emoticons and all http and email links addresses are links.

Last but not least, we now have some experimental yenc support. it only supports single part binaries and is a little slow, but it will be much improved in the next version. Please submit bug reports here:
