Summary
This converter was short lived in my database. Therefore, I don't remember why I deleted it. However, Anyvideo converter did the trick. I would give that one 5 stars. There are three simple steps: 1. ((Click) Chose from drop down menu what you want your file converted to - in my case avi. 2. (Click) Add video 3. (Click) Convert and you're done. Downside is 1. There is no pause and 2. Need a pause if going to watch a video while it's converting or you start all over, otherwise video won't play correctly.

For someone who is trying to convert some video formats into another so I can stream it from my PC in one room to my Xbox in another room. This has done a poor job at that.

Seems light weight, but couldn't get it to work for me.

I installed this program hoping to be able to convert my files for use in Windows Media Center. It crashed trying to convert every file I tried, and only converts the first 20% of the file anyway.
