Nudge gives you a way to track all of your health and fitness goals in one place by combining a nutrition log with the ability to sync your other fitness apps. Just tap in how much you've consumed and what exercise you've completed, or let the synced apps do that for you, and you can quickly view your overall fitness score.
Sync options: There are several popular fitness apps that you can sync with Nudge. These include Fitbit, Up by Jawbone, Moves, RunKeeper, Strava, and MapMyFitness. And even if you haven't used any of these before, you can follow a link to download them straight from Nudge to get started right away.
Flexible Log: The Log feature can be tailored to include only the types of foods and activities you want, and not those that aren't relevant to you. For instance, the default Log exercises are Running and Walking, but tapping the Edit button brings up a long list of other options that include everything from Elliptical to Hand Cycle to Yard Work.
Extras: In addition to food and exercise, this app also helps you track how much sleep you get, how much water you drink, and other important details that are often overlooked.
No way back: When you're updating your Log, all you have to do to add a serving of veggies, for instance, is to tap the button that corresponds to that type of food. But if you accidentally tap the button one too many times, there's no way to go back and edit your inputs. Of course, this isn't a huge inconvenience, as it's only one small element included in your overall score, but it is a little frustrating.
Nudge is a good way to keep track of how your daily lifestyle choices impact your overall fitness. It's free to download and use.
