"Edit any PDF in Word or OpenOffice Writer!"
Version: Nuance PDF Reader 7
Pros
The reader features of Nuance's PDF reader are OK. That is, you can read PDFs in it. However, main reason for getting it is that you can convert any PDF into a .doc file you can edit in MS Word or OpenOffice Writer (and save as a PDF from Writer).
Cons
None. None. None. None. None. None. None. None. None. None. None. None. None. None. None. None. None. None. None. None. None. None.
Summary
Be smart and get this reader in case you ever want to edit a PDF or extract text or graphics or formatting from a PDF for use in another program such as MS Word or OpenOffice Writer.

"Almost Good - Adware to left side of any opened pdf"
Version: Nuance PDF Reader 7
Pros
Nice design, visual appeal, fairly fast but not as fast as foxit
Cons
Any opened document has a left panel of adware cycling through flash. You can close it for that time, but if you reopen anything its back.
Summary
Bulware.....a way of sliding in their dumas ads and almost offering something good. It aint free if it annoys!

"EXCELLENT PRODUCT! A HUGE THANK YOU FOR NUANCE!"
Version: Nuance PDF Reader 7

Version: Nuance PDF Reader 7
Pros
It is accurate to about 97%

"very good but not great"
Version: Nuance PDF Reader 7
Pros
Many plusses
Cons
A few things lacking that the old and once great foxit reader had
Summary
It's the best out there now.
Now that Foxit Reader has lost their minds Nuance seems to be the best around. Too bad. I loved Foxit Reader before they hooked up with the Ask Toolbar and eBay. So it's Nuance for now.

"terrific free product, let down by zero support"
Version: Nuance PDF Reader 7
Pros
this offers most of the features you will get from Adobe's commercial Acrobat Standard edition, (if you combine it with a good free PDF printer);
nice comtemporary interfaceCons
often loses downloaded files over a DSL or slower connection;
cannot print/copy a selected area of a page, (only embedded images);
doesn't save rotated views;
control keys (zoom/scroll/pagedn/etc) don't work in browser mode, and non-standardSummary
a product with great potential, from a company only interested in supporting their commercial products (there is no forum/contact info for users of this software). if it wasn't for those few issues, I would be rolling this out enterprise-wide in every office I work.
