Version: NoteTab Light 6.12
"One of the few programs I MUST have since 1999"
Pros: World-class example of what a computer program should be - lean and mean. In the age of bloatware, NTL speaks volumes of the developer's skill. It has all the features that one would want from a text editor, and more.
Cons: Nothing worth mentioning actually.
Summary: I've had my own computer since the end of 1998. When I discovered Note Tab Light in early 1999, it has always been on all my computers ever since. NTL is something that I use each and every time I'm at the computer. I'm a freelance journalist, and many if not most of the articles that I've written were done with Note Tab Light. They are then converted to DOC or RTF on a word processor. NTL allows me to just concentrate on writing the piece. Word processor, OTOH, tend to distract with all their super-duper features, of which 90% I have no use for.
