Version: NoteTab Light 6.12
"I Love it!"
Pros: I have low vision, I've looked everywhere for an editor that I can customize with a dark background so I can see what I'm doing. This program would get 5 stars from me just for that. Average users will have a ball. Two thumbs up!
Cons: Non that I've found so far.
Summary: Downloaded easily with no problems. Installed like a breeze. The layout is logical and intuitive if you've used Word, or other similar programs. If you haven't there is an extensive help index, with clear instructions in plain English. It's light on resources, and customizable for my accessibility needs. I've looked everywhere for a customizable editor that I can change the background color to black, and the font colors, so I can see what I'm doing. It would have gotten five stars from me for that alone! I can't figure out why more program writers won't grab a clue. This program does everything I ask for in an editor. It's quick and efficient, uses a minimum of system resources, and it has a great help file index with clear explanations for folks who are leaning the ropes. There is no extraneous and annoying bloatware to slow my system. It's great for the average user, and still very useful for the power user.
It's not pretty, but I'm not looking for pretty. I've seen a ton of prettied up useless junk! I want a program that works. I'll take plain and works great over pretty and useless any day of the week.
I just downloaded this and I'm exploring and experimenting as I speak. Just terrific.
