Version: Norton AntiVirus 2010 17.0
"must be computer pro to deal with this"
Pros: In view of the cons have no positive opinion
Cons: Came pre-installed 30day trial, I renewed, pd $49 for 12 months, when I go to site, says my sybscriptioin has expired, and phising protetion off can't figure out how to turn on phising. Also, when chatting for help wait time long so I give up.
Summary: Customer support is non existing unless you have all day to resolve. Free protection comes with my IP, but being a dummy decided to pay for norton's pay version thinks it would be seamless--not so. The preloaded version was fine. Still will liketo turn on the "phising" if only I could find out how.

First of all, Norton does not cost $49. It costs $39.99.
Norton 2009 is very light. Older versions were heavy however please actually try the newest version. Its proven by many many companies to be one of the lightest software around.
To everyone: Please don't write a 1-2 star review based on previous versions. Try the version you are rating. If you're rating an older version, go to the reviews of older versions by choosing from the Older Versions menu. -
Some people should learn to read manuels. Always buy the cd for use if system crashes, read the manuel which will tell how to turn on componets, even the program can tell you. Plus, go to book store buy Norton for Dummies, might help you.
