"This is not a good product at all."
Pros
Might be a decent firewall.
Cons
I have been in the Norton scam for 2yrs just giving them a break for old time sake. But the real deal is this product only finds tracking cookies after you run it a few times. When you first install it then you might find a few problems with infections but after that nothing I ran a free program and found 4 viruses that Norton missed, then as of today I noticed my pc running slow ran Norton and all it found was tracking cookies ran the free program and found Rootkit zero sitting in windows nice and warm and happy.
Summary
Norton is paying a lot of money to pay websites (including this one) to tell you this is a decent product. It is not. The people who cry about their computer not working have more problems than Norton. It wont crash your pc but it wont clean it either.

It would have helped if you mentioned what the "free program" was so that we can assess if it was a false alert. It would also help if you substantiated your claims against CNET and other websites. As it stands, your review sounds like a blind item in the Gossip pages -- written by someone with an axe to grind (a disgruntled ex-employee? A competitor?).
