    Version: Norton 360 2.0

    "All In One Product"

Pros: Norton 360 combines security and tune up features for your computer.Interface makes it simple and easy to use.It can also corrects any problems.Excellent antivirus and antispyware, detects and removes many threats.Firewall is strong but silent, sometimes too silent.Realtime protection stops virus and spyware before they enter you computer. It blocks any suspicious sites which makes it safe to bank on line.Tune up works fine and it really makes your computer faster.2 gb backup is very good and you can choose where to back up it.Now the best thing about Norton 360 is that it uses less memory than previous versions of Norton products.

Cons: Installation is big.Doesn't support Firefox and Opera.

Norton 2007 products are great, It gets in your face less than other security suites.Has a top notch behavioural and rootkit protection. As for the scanning, many people said Norton misses virus. But actually Norton caught all the virus in my computer and It ranked well in Pc world test, scroing 2nd, just under Kaspersky.

the problem so many have with norton is traces of other av scanners leftover. i have always found it best to carefully look for any traces of leftover traces. if the os has been on the machine fo 18 months or longer, i recommend a fresh format. i know people hate norton. and i don't use it personally. but i ran it NIS2007 on 3 of my machines to evaluate it, since i manage security for clueless family members, and a friend. what i was looking for was a solid security suite that required zero user intervention. whether folks like norton or not, it's effective enough. and it literally babysits itself. (once a few minor changes are made) since i've put nis2007 on those machines. i get no calls asking about firewall questions, or what to do with a virus. and although you're right about no support for firefox or opera as far as the analyzing antiphishing goes. it will still block the (oops stuff the clueless click) regardless of the browser from getting on the machine almost all the time. norton put's panda and mcafee to shame in my opinion. kaspersky remains my personal choice ......it's no use to the clueless however.
