"Norton 360 has finally dropped the ball"
Version: Norton 360 5.0
Pros
Before November of 2011 I had no issues or concerns
Cons
Erased my computer.
Summary
I've used Norton for more than 10 years and had no problems until this last update I bought on disk November of 2011. A very long and agonizing story short, it erased my laptop. I'm talking about the disc drive, all the USB ports, every file and program, and including the windows operating system license. I went through hell and back trying to restore my computer. I had to reinstall a lot of programs but I still have some that do not work properly like Excel and ITunes. I will not be using Norton anymore. I could not get my money back from the store because I opened the package. I am now using AVG and its working so far.

"Absolutley Incredible"
Version: Norton 360 5.0
Pros
Fast and lightweight; one of the smallest programs in terms of size on my computer.
Accurate detection rate.
Makes me feel safe with lots of features.
Love the new reputation scan.
Only around 60 bucks for full protection on up to three computers for one or two years.Cons
Misses viruses sometimes.
Slowdowns startup by a few seconds.
Can get a bit annoying sometimes with all the notifications.Summary
Norton360 v5.0 is an overall great new version. It looks sharp, it feels sharp, it is sharp. The protection is incredible, I haven't had a virus that hasn't been solved by Norton in two years. When I first scanned with Norton360 I had approximatley 417 viruses, my computer was out of whack until I found norton360. People say it is a memory hog, but they are just living in the past; the new version is so lightweight.

"Good Protection"
Version: Norton 360 5.0
Pros
Does block viscious attacks. You'd be pretty safe with this one.
Cons
Resource HOG.
Slows computer down dramatically!
Pop ups constantly nagging that browsers or programs are using high CPU resources, but when you check the performance, they're barely using any.
I uninstalled 360 v5 and reinstalled 360 v4 & am happy to say I'm "flying high again".Summary
I wouldn't recommend this version to a friend.

Version: Norton 360 5.0
Pros
I spend around 6 hours per day online. My international business requires i have reliable protection as I am outside the US for 6 months per year and receive upwards of 100 emails per day.
Cons
None so far.
Summary
Since purchasing Norton 360 in 2009 I have have had no problems. This is an amazing stat in my opinion. I buy a new top of the line laptop every July, but have had reoccurring issues in the past.
Those days are gone. Thank you Norton 360. -
"THE WORST ANTIVIRUS EVER"
Version: Norton 360 5.0
Pros
There are none with so ever.
Cons
It will annoy you to death, and destroy your computer. Makes computer slow even if you have a good processor and memory. Doesn't find viruses
Summary
I hate Norton. It messes up so many computers because people are misinformed. My friends use Norton because Comcast provides it. Due to them telling me there computers were slow, they now have Avast free. Avast free found about 20 viruses that Norton missed. They now love Avast and tell people to use it now. If you want to leave your computer unexposed, I would suggest using Norton. If you want a protected fast system, try Avast free or AVG free.
