Publisher's description
From InformAction :NoScript provides extra protection for your Mozilla/Firefox or Flock browser: this extension allows JavaScript and Java execution only for trusted domains of your choice. This whitelist based pre-emptive script blocking approach prevents exploitation of security vulnerabilities with no loss of functionality. You can enable JavaScript/Java execution for sites you trust with a simple left-click on the NoScript status bar icon or using the context menu in pop-up statusbar.

Version: NoScript 1.1.4.6
Pros: It offers a nice security for firefox. It blocks all java scripts. If you trust a site then you can temporarily allow the scripts to run. Very easy to configure. It is free and has regualr updates.it is better to be safe than sorry.

Version: NoScript 1.1.4.6
"A must have for safe browsing."
Pros: The only way to go to goggle.com on firefox with REAL safety, is to have noscript, Adblock plus, and phishtank. Makes every soooo much safer....a little harder to use for new people though.
Cons: None

Version: NoScript 1.1.4.6
"does nothing that common-sense-browsing can't prevent"
Pros: useful option for those fastidious people who like extreme security. I confess to being fussy and paranoid about the internet and computing sometimes but this seems like overkill
Also stops all banners, adverts and videos, most of which rely on java being enabled in the browser
Cons: Java and java script has made the web a rich and diverse place, why restict it completely?
Ok, you can configure it to allow trusted websites to display all their content completely but can you be bothered setting this for each new site you browse upon?

Version: NoScript 1.1.4.6
Pros: Allow only the scripts you need to view what you want.
Cons: Some sites have several scripts running from different addresses, can take awhile to allow what you need in intial setup phase. Shows just how many scripts are running on a page. Again wonder why it is rated so high by C-Net when it isn't the most friendly on their sites.
