From InformAction :NoScript provides extra protection for your Mozilla/Firefox or Flock browser: this extension allows JavaScript and Java execution only for trusted domains of your choice. This whitelist based pre-emptive script blocking approach prevents exploitation of security vulnerabilities with no loss of functionality. You can enable JavaScript/Java execution for sites you trust with a simple left-click on the NoScript status bar icon or using the context menu in pop-up statusbar.

Version: NoScript 1.1.4.5
Pros: NoScript gives you the option to forbid Java, macromedia flash player, and other plugins. It then gives you the option to allow the sites you wish to use these plugin controls on (NoScript automatically blocks). NoScript makes Firefox much safer than IE could ever hope to be. It basically eliminates drive-by downloads. NoScript might require more user intervention, but overall it's worth it; it gives you the security you want.

"A must have Ad-on for Fire Fox"
Pros: NoScript blocks all Java for getting on your PC by Default for any new site you find. Luckily you are able to change to allow part or all of the scripts on any site. This also helps to prevent unwanted things getting on your PC. In a way this makes an safe bowser even safer.
