Publisher's description
From InformAction :NoScript provides extra protection for your Mozilla/Firefox or Flock browser: this extension allows JavaScript and Java execution only for trusted domains of your choice. This whitelist based pre-emptive script blocking approach prevents exploitation of security vulnerabilities with no loss of functionality. You can enable JavaScript/Java execution for sites you trust with a simple left-click on the NoScript status bar icon or using the context menu in pop-up statusbar.
Version 1.1.4.1 may include unspecified updates, enhancements, or bug fixes.
CNET Editor's Note: The Download Now link will prompt a local download of the Firefox extension. To install the extension directly, open the file using your Firefox browser.

Version: NoScript 1.1.4.1
"Approve or deny the hidden scripts web sites run in Firefox."
Pros: Click the tiny NoScript button and see every script that's running in Firefox from the current page. By default, nothing runs until you allow it. NoScript learns and saves perferences so you only need to do it once for every web site you visit. This extension is great for disabling scripts that track your online movements, such as doubleclick and questionmarket, and for exploring new web sites where you're not sure how safe or reputable they are.
Cons: Less technical users may find it difficult to grasp how different scripts can run from many different web sites at once, but the settings are simple enough to offer most computer literate users the added security of knowing what programs a web page is running as Firefox displays it.

Version: NoScript 1.1.4.1
"If you need all the extra security you can get your hands on, GET THIS"
Pros: Lets face it: First came viruses, than hacking, then spyware, and now many threats are transmitted through Javascript. NoScript is an extension that won't take away from the fast browsing or functionality of Firefox, and after a week of whitelisting your favourite sites, you are protected and don't even notice that it's there. Great extension.
Cons: I wish that instead of a whitelist that there was a blacklist! Secondly, the extension automatically installs several websites into the "Allowed" list, all of which I removed and only later I again allowed some of them. Other than that, great stuff. Haven't had any malware on my PC since installing Firefox, AVG, and NoScript (before I had IE/Netscape and Norton AV).

Version: NoScript 1.1.4.1
"Stronger security when surfing the web."
Pros: It blocks Javascripts and unknown scripts in a website. Quite a good extension. It doesn't slow down the speed of surfing the web, this is what i like. You don't need to really care about it when you surfing, it won't disturb you with tons of warnings and alerts. A good choice for stronger security when surfing the web.
Cons: I don't know what to complain about this software. This extension is recommended to all users of firefox!

Version: NoScript 1.1.4.1
Pros: Blocks Scripts. You can allow a mother site you are visiting while denying external sites that run scripts on the mother page.
Cons: Takes awhile to allow or deny scripts as you come upon different web sites. Too many sites use scripts.
