"Fraud - took money - authorization doesn't work"
Version: NoClone 3.2.60
Pros
Seems to work in free mode for 3 duplicate erases at a time
Cons
authorization code doesn't work. Forum has never had a question answered. Chat is available but no one answers (waited an hour). Emails are not answered. Third party payment service refuses to help
Summary
do not buy unless you get them to talk to you first through all the ways that they say are available.

"finds duplicates well"
Version: NoClone 3.2.60
Pros
have tried most other duplicate finders. this seems to be only one that allows you to navigate through your results by folder. others let you choose folders to scan, or pick one folder to mark, but this allows you to pick , for example, 4 out of 7 folders to mark for deletion.
Cons
similar files does not seem to work well.
Summary
overall, best duplicate finder. some of the definitions are not that clear, for example master folder..
but overall works well. -
"Glitchy software,shady business practices"
Version: NoClone 5.1.14
Pros
can find clones, and replace with hard-link or shortcuts to "master" file.
Cons
Often hangs. Sometimes finished search that took hours to complete then when you apply action it crashes losing all previous work. Creating hard links caused my disk to have a corrupted filesystem table, and I lost everything. The company auto renewed my license without my authorization once, but reversed charges when I called. Now three years after not using or buying the product another charge showed up on my account of 39.95 without my authorization for renewal of my license. They do not answer the phone, and live chat is not enabled on the website. I'm still waiting for a response to my email.
Summary
Avoid this product! Its not worth the headache.

"I dislike this program totally"
Version: NoClone 5.1.14
Pros
Yes it deleted some of my duplicates BUT!!
Cons
It totally locked up my computer I made a folder to save all the duplicates to save them to so I could go over it before they were to be deleted it was totally gone no files they were just gone. Not in recycle just gone. My computer was so messed up until I removed that program. Once I removed the program my computer was happy again. I had plenty of space 2 GB on Vista of free space so it was the program and I don't want to go near it again.
Summary
I will be staying as far from this program as I can. It may work for others but not for me. It locked my computer up more than I care to count. As soon as I uninstalled it my computer purred like a kitten again.

"CONFUSING not clear at all!"
Version: NoClone 5.1.13
Pros
If it worked as it says it does lots but I have yet to see it. Sorry :(
Cons
I thought I was putting files into my recycle bin to check over before I deleted them however in checking my recycle bin they are not there?? I hope they are not completely deleted until I know for sure I mad not errors if this programs does not allow you to check for errors before as it says you can then I it is worthless unless your a computer wiz. Since many doubles have different paths they are simular but different!!
Summary
If I cannot find them then I they it is worthless!! either way I don't like the fact that I have to now search for the files when they are suppose to be in the recycle bin.

"Useful in principle, but badly crafted and buggy"
Version: NoClone 4.2.25
Pros
Functionality is excellent. Does full byte-for-byte comparisons, exports a log, displays thumbnails of graphics for comparison, intelligent mark-up of files for deletion, good delete options (to or not to recycle bin, or create link) and many others
Cons
Very sloppily implemented. UI confusing; functions not where you expect; doesn't save info between sessions properly; changes settings unexpectedly; texts in program (& web site) are incorrect/mis-spelled English; buggy - regularly crashes or hangs
Summary
A good idea but badly implemented. I know it's free but that's no excuse for bad workmanship - needs to be thoroughly overhauled.

"Excellent Program. Disceptive 'Free' Nature of Program"
Version: NoClone 4.2.25
Pros
Does the job very well!
Cons
Get rid of the 'Free' advertising and list as a Limited Trial.
Summary
You will be able to find each and every duplicate in a very simple and direct manner.

"The best product I have used for finding duplicates."
Version: NoClone 3.2.60
Pros
The best thing I like about the product is not only that it finds exact duplicates, ie. name ,size. But also files that are not exact in name or size and gives you even greater control over your data storage.
Cons
The only con I found was not the Program, but the fact that I had waited so long to get a reliable piece of software to do the job, I had over a thousand files to trudge through. Now that it has been cleared up. I am overjoyed at NoClone.
Summary
Hands down, the best data management software I have used in years. if your thing is anything from cleaning up drivers downloaded in abundance, years of MP3 files and directories over several drives, or just simply wanting to tidy. NoClone is a clear winner.

"A dud. No more to be said."
Version: NoClone 4.2.25
Pros
See the cons.
Cons
Failed on first use.
Summary
1. At very first use I tried to find duplicate emails. The default folder for this is, "Personal Folders\Inbox", but (supposedly, for those like me, who use a different email Store Folder and on a separate drive) there is a Browse button. On pressing the Browse button, the program hangs--every time.
Even using its Search facility (Search: "email") I could find is nothing in the Help menu to assist with this.
I question whether the program actually works for Windows Mail, as it specifically refers to its ability to find duplicate "Outlook" emails--so it may not actually work in Vista.
It seems reasonable to me, that if a program fails at its very first task, the very first time you use it, there is not much point in reviewing it further. So I haven't.
